Art Deco Villa in Saint Rémy de Provence

Built on an orchard in 1925, this house with its art deco architecture has been entirely restored to enhance its cachet while preserving the decorative codes of the 1920’s and 1930’s.

To restore it to its former glory, we have completely redesigned the interior. The space, enlarged and optimized, has been refurbished in an elegant and comfortable spirit, benefiting from modern technologies while keeping the charm of the homes of yesteryear.

Thus, cement tiles have been put back in place in the kitchen and bathrooms. The air conditioning system has been completely redesigned and hidden in the floor.  An antique fireplace has been added in the main living room, its hearth has been paved with a sheet of cast-iron. Under the former attic, a room previously hidden in the turret and inaccessible, is now served by a spiral staircase dating from the beginning of the 20th century, thus completing the living space with a fully equipped suite.

The ground floor, previously made up of less noble usage rooms, has been renovated. It now offers access to the garden and is converted into an independent apartment, completing the living space on the upper floors and serving as a guest apartment.

The decoration reflects the spirit of Provence, without excluding more eclectic furnishings and objects, modern or old, found by the owners.

The entire renovation has brought the house back to life, a life that is in keeping with its history and with our times.
